Product Designer

As part of the design systems team, I was tasked with component creation and maintaince. I also led a few higher level concepts and projects such as integrating motion and defining a page template strategy.

I started off auditing the design system for the dynamic ads ecosystem, highlighting inconsistencies and looking for opportunities to improve. I quickly however found that the contract culture at Facebook was perhaps not a right fit for me.

I worked on a modern ticketing system to help product mgrs track projects. In addition I was given an opportunity to work on a few analytics dashboards as well as the onboarding experience for Google Opinion Rewards and their physical device.

I was focused on 3 main areas. One was the Cloudcenter product which helps IT set up infrastructure. The second was called Workflow orchestrator for building out IT processes. And then half my time was design for our Particle design system.

Y Media Labs is a full service design agency. During my time there, I worked on a set of medical inventory applications sales reps to track and sell inventory to medical clients.

On the global design team, we were creating responsive business applications for various enterprise solutions. Projects ranged from payroll solutions, integrations, procurement, marketing, etc. In addition, we were tasked with providing the central team with component requirements.

LinkedIn was my first real introduction to ux research & the corporate world. And while I felt quite unprepared, I was grateful for the experience that got me started.
